22k gold leaf earrings

The leaves of these earrings are solid 22k gold and the posts and ear nuts are 18k gold. I used tiny leaves that grow in my garden to make these earrings (the two leaves are different ones but similar enough to make a nice pair).

The leaves are approximately 4 mm across, and are made with a 22k gold alloy in which the non-gold component is silver. The richness of the gold is hard to capture in pictures. The posts and ear nuts (not pictured here) are 18k gold.
